You’ll explore the hilltop Buddhist town of Dharmsala where the Dalai Lama lives, hike in the exotic Valley of the Gods by the Vyaas River, and wander in magical Rishikesh along the Ganges River.

Double Room Occupancy Early Bird: $3400 CAD with non-refundable deposit of $500 CAD by May 1, 2018. Full payment due by September 1st, 2018.

Single Supplement: $600 CAD in addition to full or early bird price (ensures a private room).

Divine Discoveries A Himalayan Journey 2DAY 1: Saturday, October 13

Arrive in New Delhi and get a taxi to the World Buddhist Center and check in to your room (at the World Buddhist Center).

DAY 2: Sunday October 14

Explore New Delhi by taxi.

DAY 3: Monday October 15

Fly to the Kullu Valley and taxi to the small town of Naggar, where we will check into our single rooms at the Naggar Delights Hotel.

DAY 4: October 16

Hike in the hills to ancient temples in the village and visit Roerich Art Museum, the famous Russian painter.

DAY 5: October 17

Walk by the Vyaas River and visit the town of Manali.

DAY 6: October 18

Visit the world-famous yearly Dushera Festival in Kullu – where Gods from every local village will be congregating and dancing together!

DAY 7: October 19

Spend the day by coach on the road exploring the towns along the way to Dharmsala. We’ll stop in Bir, home of many Buddhist Monasteries.

Check in to our rooms in MacLeod Ganj (at the Norbulinka Institute).

DAY 8: October 20

Explore MacLeod Ganj temples, shops and hillsides.

DAY 9: October 21

Daily Schedule:

  • Each morning we’ll start the day with meditation and gentle breath work, lead by Padma.
  • After breakfast, we’ll do yoga with Hasu.
  • After a tea break, we’ll explore meditation and philosophy with Padma.
  • Lunch, and then the whole afternoon to explore, rest, and have fun. Each day there will be a group outing planned, which you can join or choose to rest.
  • Before bed, we’ll have a full-relaxation meditation and possibly some Sanskrit mantra chanting.

About Padma:

Padma shares teachings, wisdom, laughter and light from her 30 years of direct tutelage with a Himalayan Meditation Master. Discover what pure meditation really is, and find true joy, clarity and freedom! Padma is one of Canada’s most renowned teachers of Meditation and Self-Awareness. She is the host of the nationally-aired television series Padma Yoga and has lead meditation workshops internationally since 2000. 



About Hasu:

Hasu is an intuitive and knowledgeable Yogi. For more than 20 years, she has shared a flowing practice which creates self alignment and attunement, based on teachings from her own life experience, Kripalu Yoga, Amrit Yoga, and Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy. The focus is on exploring sensation through movement and stillness, while drawing on the breath as a tool for transformation, allowing you to explore your inner edges and thresholds with willful practice and mindfulness; learning how to trust, accept, experience peace with ourselves and life, by deepening the connection with the vital life force, and adding a sense of ease to one’s life. From here, we learn how to carry what is experienced on the mat into daily interactions. Life becomes a waking meditation.
