Summer is the perfect time to rejuvenate your body and mind. The warm, sunny days offer endless opportunities to get outside, be active, and enjoy the season’s vibrant energy.
During the transition from spring to summer the evening class attendance dips, so we begin to refine the schedule to accommodate the season. Here are some wellness options to help you make the most of this beautiful time of year:
Gratitude Practice: Cultivate a sense of gratitude for the longer days and the abundance of nature during summer. Gather with us in the Heart of Roberts Creek, Welcome Summer Party, June 21st 3-6 pm
Yoga
- Connection with Nature: Take your practice outside to parks, beaches, or gardens to deepen your connection with the earth and enhance the grounding effect of your practice.
- Weekly Outdoor Yoga on the Tiny Farm, Roberts Creek, Coming late June.
- Sun Salutations: Embrace the sun’s energy with Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar), which are energizing, strengthening and balancing. Join us for CommunityYoga June 21st, 6-7 pm for Solstice Sun Salutations
Meditation
- Evening Practice: Consider practicing yoga and meditation in the cooler parts of the day, such as early morning or late evening. Join us June 21st 7:15 to 8 pm for Peace Meditation, a ritual of lightness
- Reflection: take time to meditate, set intentions, and reflect on your personal growth and goals for the rest of the year.
