Over the six weeks together, we will explore how grief and loss are experienced in the body and how the body, mind and spirit are connected (sensation, emotion, and meaning). With this holistic approach, you will learn how to use movement and stillness to support you through the journey. Wherever you are along the path, I’ll meet you there.
No yoga experience required.
Sessions will consist of some purposeful movement, reflection, restorative yoga and yoga nidra (sleep based meditation). Practices are designed to support you at home and in daily living.
All EmpowerYoga programs are trauma informed. You will have choice in everything you do and there are no hands-on assists.
Lori brings a wealth of education and experience in Mental Health and Trauma, including specific interest how Grief and Loss is experienced individually, systemically, and culturally.
As part of registration, you will be asked to fill out a confidential intake form that is primarily for Lori to know where you at in your journey in order to best support you.
