The Tensegrity Series was developed by Gioia Irwin. It is a sequence of movements repeated a number of times that allow us to feel the deepest layers of our body in an integral way. The word Tensegrity is a compound word from tension and integrity. Balanced tension in the muscles and fascia allows us to hold our shape with ease and grace.
Through this practice we are able to reduce and reverse cumulative wear and tear to joints, muscles and deep facial layers. Flexibility and function are restored to the energy network of the body’s connective tissue system (muscles, fascia, tendons and ligaments).
During this workshop, you will have an opportunity to understand the principles behind the series as well as learn the complete sequence of movements with the variations YOU need for your body to be able to move with ease.

Lyne Lantaigne, B.Ed, BFA, Registered Yoga Therapist (CYA-E-RYT 550)
For the past 18 years I have dedicated myself to the path of yoga and meditation. I approach teaching from a Yoga therapy perspective; a student-centered approach. With a background in education, I have taught languages and visual art. My love of learning and deep inquiry is what fuels my yoga teaching. My intention is to create a space of loving awareness to facilitate students connecting with themselves on subtler levels through their body.
