Moving With Grief Flyer: Moving with Grief

Moving with Grief

Thursdays 7-9pm

October 2nd – 30th, 2025

Moving with grief is journey through your subtle body, each week uncovering and discovering how you interface with your sense of loss.

Grief is a natural human reaction to loss, bringing a wave of emotions and sensations. These feelings cannot be avoided or hidden. They can be difficult to express and sometimes feel overwhelming. Often, individuals feel isolated in their experience of grief and guilt may arise from societal expectations of how one should feel or the duration of grieving.

I believe the grieving process should not be rushed. In my experience, there isn’t a beginning or a middle and there is no decisive finish line. Grief is the body wanting to be heard. It wants to be felt. Grief is not something we move through; it is something we move with.

Being present in the grieving process can lead to profound and loving learning experiences. However, staying present is challenging. This is why I am offering this workshop. A small group setting provides a powerful opportunity to be seen, heard, witnessed, and accepted in our grief. Observing others’ journeys can be very cathartic.

Moving with grief is a somatic journey in 5 parts. Each week we gather to explore our grief through different movement practices and sharing within our intimate and confidential circle.

This series is open to anyone who is experiencing any kind of loss that is impacting their life.

  • Death, relationships, health diagnoses, major life changes, environmental grief.
