Yoga Body Psychology: A Yoga Therapy Weekend

Build a grounded, embodied understanding of energy, emotion, and healing.

This innovative and experiential retreat offers a deeper approach to Yoga Therapy. You will learn practical, immediately usable tools to gently release stored emotional and mental patterns and awaken the body’s natural capacity for healing.

By blending yogic psychology, energy awareness, and body-based practices, this weekend supports healing from the inside out. Techniques can be applied within yoga poses or used without them, making them accessible for personal practice anytime. 

You will experience :

  • An exploration of  the chakra system as a map for self-awareness, personal growth, and self-actualization
  • How to Identify and release psychosomatic patterns held in the body
  • Learn yoga poses and therapeutic practices that help rewire unhelpful physical, emotional, and mental habits
  • Supportive emotional integration in a healthy, embodied way
  • Reduced stress, improve resilience, and restore balance through nervous system regulation

Yoga Body Psychology explores how asana, breathwork, and mindfulness to cultivate a compassionate relationship with the body, shifting focus toward inner sensation, presence, and well-being. Physical symptoms are approached as meaningful reflections of emotional and energetic states, inviting understanding and witnessing.

Throughout the weekend, we explore Prana, the vital life force, as a pathway for healing. You will receive a foundational introduction to the yogic view of energy, how energetic blocks form, and how they affect vitality, health, and emotional balance.

We will also journey through The Chakras, beginning with the root chakra and its role in safety, grounding, and ego formation, and moving through all seven energy centers. The weekend culminates in a deeply restorative, guided Yoga Nidra designed to harmonize body, mind, and spirit.

This retreat is a space to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with your innate wisdom—supporting healing, clarity, and a deeper sense of wholeness.
