An evening of embodied movement + yoga nidra
The evening will begin with a practice inspired by Qoya, a movement experience based on the idea that through movement we remember that our essence is wise, wild and free. Movement with meaning is at the core of Qoya, pronounced coy-uh, and it invites you to connect and embody the feminine in whatever way She manifests within you. No experience of dance or yoga is required as this practice is deeply personal and will meet you wherever you are in your physical body.
Please wear something in which you can move and you feel comfortable. Adorn yourself in scarves, jewelry, clothing that represents you!
Followed by a divine Yoga Nidra practice.
Yoga Nidra is an elegantly simple and powerful sleep based meditation technique that allows you to rest back in your true nature.
Taking the posture of Savasana, you’ll explore breathe, sensorial awareness and imagination (Chakras) to bring about stillness to heal both body and mind.
There will be time at the end for a closing circle and share.
