We can all agree, this year has come with some big feelings and turbulence. The full moon tends to intensify whatever it is we’re feeling. Part of a letting-go practice is a willingness to feel. Often we want to push away the feelings we’ve been dealing with, to get rid of them and move on, so to speak.
I have been feeling this very much these past few days ! Dropping into old mental patterns of fear, self-worth, vulnerability, and uncertainty, and looking for any way to not feel this !!!
Ironically, the best way to move on from whatever we’re dealing with is to actually sit down and deal with it. As the old adage goes, you can’t heal what you can’t feel. So, I pause, close my eyes, internalise my attention and witness the feelings, and describe them to myself, I explore and uncover them, which is one of the powerful life skills the Wisdom of Yoga taught me.
With my curious nature, I wondered why is “Now” so intense for me ( outside of myself created suffering with mental recapitulation)… Well Springtime often is and then I realized there is also a Full Moon Rising and Budding Trees !
Flower Moon in Scorpio
The May Flower Moon arrives as a powerful threshold, a moment of blooming, visibility, honest reflection and deep transformation. Rooted in the rhythms of spring, it symbolizes abundance, creativity, and the fruition of what has been quietly cultivated beneath the surface, while to releasing what no longer feels aligned.
With this full moon in Scorpio, there is an invitation to respond differently . Old patterns may surface, not as setbacks, but as opportunities to meet yourself with deeper awareness. To listen closely. To trust the body’s subtle knowing, the intelligence of the body over the noise of the mind.
As we move through this seasonal turning point:
What am I ready to let go of? What am I making space for? What am I ready to Grow?
This is the Heart of the Spiritual living.
